About Jean and Aileyn

Those who know us realize that the photo on our Home page was taken years ago. We were on the Pacific Coast, at Asilomar (refuge-by-the-sea.)  We went there for years, studying the many aspects of fiber art, which has become a life journey.

We are sisters who grew up on a farm in South Dakota and now live in Walnut Creek, California which is in the San Francisco Bay Area. What inspires each of us is very different, but we have the same interest in fine workmanship. Aileyn’s body of work focuses on the natural world and is most often realistic. Jean’s eye finds interesting architectural details so her work can feel abstract, less realistic.

We exhibit nationally and internationally. We have artwork in private and public collections. Some work is available for purchase.
